Detection of Impurities
Analysis of impurities and damage
Every miller should make sure to accept the “purest” possible grain. For this reason, a detection of impurities is carried out upon the acceptance of grain
A differentiation is made between black and white impurities:
Black impurities are untypical parts such as stones, weed seeds, metals, etc.
White impurities are considered to be other types of grain, wild oats, chaff, etc.
At the same time, the grain is rigorously inspected in this analysis for so-called fusaria (mould) and other grain pests.
