It started the project “Controlled quality wheat cultivation in Upper Austriaâ€. Through this project, chosen local farmers deliver the highest quality wheat according to criteria defined by contract. Cultivation is moreover carried out in harmony with nature, which is one of the reasons Haberfellner pays the farmers 10 to 15 % more for the grain than the market price.
“We can therefore offer consumers the highest quality and support local agriculture at the same time.†These are the motives behind Haberfellner.
